Lunch, etc.

After my workout at the gym today, I was quite hungry, so I ate lunch as soon as I got back.

I saw an ad in the paper for these new Lean Pockets that are spinach and artichoke, so I wanted to try them. However, when I got home, I looked more extensively at the packaging and saw the word hydrogenated — I knew it in the back of my mind but I got them anyway. Oh well, at least I can say I tried them once.


Honestly, it tasted good but wasn’t quite the spinach-artichoke flavor that I like. I need to just make it myself. But the ‘pocket’ paired with the salad was a good filling lunch and a great post-workout recovery meal.

A little while afterward, I had a Jello sugar free pudding cup. Another note to self: these too contain partially hydrogenated oil. Can you believe that?! Not to mention the fake sugars. I am just trying to use stuff up and these have been lingering for a couple of weeks now.


I enjoyed a nice cup of decaf raspberry tea after my fake dessert failed to satisfy my need for something sweet.


Then just now, I ate my Kashi bar, finishing off the box of Honey Almond Flax. I have one more Trail mix flavor and then I think I’m ready to try some Larabars I keep hearing so much about! :)
