Something doesn’t agree?

I didn’t mention it in my earlier post, but something I ate last night messed me up, I am just feeling “off” to spare you the details. Since I’ve already given you too much information, let’s move on!

Breakfast yesterday was a bowl of old fashioned oats (made with 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water), topped with a chopped green apple, 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1 tbsp walnuts.

At church, I had a cup of coffee with sweet ‘n low and trans fat creamer. I really need to either drink it at home or do without the powdered creamers they have, yick! I hate how SO many products out there claim to be trans fat free and still contain partially hydrogenated oils — I need to start outing them! 😉

I also had this later on as a snack because I got hungry…

For lunch, I tried some new frozen veggies that I bought at the store because I had a coupon. I like steaming things in the microwave so I’m always looking for new combos…

I had a serving with a Boca Tomato Bruschetta veggie burger stuffed into a pita pocket with some mustard on top…LUNCH!

The veggies were very good, I loved the sauce that they were in. I would definitely buy those again, luckily I had some left overs so I can have them with lunch another day 🙂

Later in the afternoon, after more errands, house-cleaning, dog bathing (haha), and walking, I had some lite yogurt with 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean, one of the best snacks ever!

Now, here is where things went south…all of this food tasted good and I love visiting my in-laws, but I am not feeling well today and I think it’s probably something that I ate there.

Dinner was steak in mushroom sauce (?), corn and a roll. I didn’t eat any mashed potatoes since this was already carb-loaded. Perhaps it was the roll?

I went back for seconds on corn and meat…I drank tons of water while I was there too to offset the sodium 😉

When I got home, I had this NASTY butterscotch pudding that I made earlier in the day. I know you are not supposed to make pudding with soy milk but I had bought that this week for some reason and thought I could handle the consistency…I didn’t take into account that I had plain soymilk and it tastes horrible. I should not have eaten it, but when I mixed in the reddi-whip it was a bit better. I will most likely throw the rest out and get some skim milk for my other mixes 😦

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Can’t wait to see what you all have been eating too 🙂
