I know many of you are going into the holidays with some dread because of all the food that will be present and the holiday weight gain that comes as a result (and the guilt it makes us feel). But this year, I am actually going into Thanksgiving with a ton of confidence.
I think it is because I have started running (er, jogging) again. Just knowing I can do it, not to mention the calorie burn it gives me, has really made me a lot more positive. Plus I just remember that I survived the holidays last year — I managed to lose weigh over Thanksgiving week and then maintain throughout Christmas and New Year’s! So I know I can do it again 🙂
