Holiday dish # 2 : Kath’s Cranberry Sauce

My family usually has cranberry sauce out of the can, which I like, but the sugar content is less than stellar, plus I find it is always better to have the whole fruit when you can. And since I do like fresh cranberries, I took it upon myself to make Kath’s Cranberry Sauce for my family’s Thanksgiving meal!

This recipe was very simple, I followed her instructions exactly. My kitchen smelled amazing!

Starting to thicken up…

Voila! In an ugly container because it has to travel, but still so beautiful! I taste tested it (aka licked the spoon) and I think it’s going to be great! I hope everyone else likes it too 🙂
