I am so glad the weekend is almost here, how about you guys?! We’ve got rainy stormy weather here for the next couple of days but the weekend should be warm and beautiful, I can’t wait!
This morning for breakfast I had a green smoothie made with 1 cup 1% cow’s milk, 1 large ripe banana, 1 tbsp flax and two generous handfuls of spinach. On the side, I had some Kashi high fiber cereal which reminds me a lot of Go Lean but with a few extra crunchies in there and a better taste.
I have a speedwork run planned for today but I’m sure that will be on the treadmill, which actually works better for me anyway when it comes to speedwork. The other day, I managed to get up to 7.2 mph, which I don’t know if I could’ve gone that fast outside on my own and if I did, I wouldn’t have known it was that fast (I’m not a Garmin owner yet).
I’m also trying the Sunshine Falafel burger for lunch today, which I first read about on VeggieGirl‘s blog. It will be nice to have a veggie burger free from weird sounding ingredients and its even soy free too!
