Running fuel

I’ll be running a little early this morning (4 miles) so we can avoid the strong sun and heat, so I had to make sure I fueled up good at breakfast to carry me through.

I decided oat bran would be a good choice because of all the different things I eat, it keeps me full the longest, especially with the addition of pumpkin and peanut butter!

This bowl was made with 1/3 cup oat bran, 1/3 cup water, and 2/3 cup soymilk. It also contained 1 tbsp flax, pumpkin pie spice, and a tiny sprinkle of brown sugar (1/2 tsp’ish). With some OJ with added calcium 🙂
