Hump Day for two reasons

Today is truly hump day…it’s the middle of the week and as K reminded me yesterday, the year is now half way over, WOW! How time flies…I feel old, ha ha.

Breakfast this morning was a simple bowl of Multigrain Cheerios with skim milk and a banana with PB on the side. Perfect!

We had a work party this morning, so I snacked on some chips + salsa, fruit salad (with yogurt)Β and a tiny piece of a savory quiche. YUM. Sorry no pics. I skipped the sweets because I just wasn’t in the mood.

For lunch, I just had a romaine salad with cucumbers and topped it with a packet of chunk light tuna and a few globs of hummus, a new kind I picked up at Whole Foods over the weekend πŸ™‚

Guess what I’m doing today? RUNNING OUTSIDE!

Last week we were near 100 degrees, insanely humid and miserable and now today its going to be 75 and was rather cool out this morning. What the heck? I shouldn’t complain. I’m taking advantage of it.

    First, love your blog!
    Second, NICE name!!
    And Third, If you haven’t already you should try basic 4 cearal. It’s one of the best I’ve tried and technically still being a teenager (barely, I’m 19…will 20 hurry up already), even my little 12 year old brother loves it. I’ve never been a fan of really sugary cearal, except Fruit Loops and Apple Cinnamon Cheerios on occasion) and this is perfect!

    So try it when you get the chance!!! πŸ™‚

  2. Oh and forgot to add….congrats on being a runner. my stepdad is a marathon runner. He’s always been athletic and played soccer his whole life. He decided to run a marathon for his 40th brithday which was about 6 years ago and has been addicted since. I’m not a runner myself but I love going to the races and cheering him on! If you ever get over to VA beach, there’s a half and full marathon in March called the Shamrock and it’s a lot of fun. As is one in Tennesse called the Rock and Roll Half, I think. Keep up the good work! You’re an inspiration!
