Pretty good day
It seemed like a long day at work today but other than that I really have no complaints. Food today was particularly amazing. I tried a new combo for breakfast today!
Oats, PB and blueberries!!
Oh my gosh, this was so good. I was worried it wouldn’t be the same as banana but man, this was a welcome change and quite tasty. I can’t wait to do it again!
On the way to work, mom offered to buy coffee and who am I to refuse?
“Skinny” cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks. I typically just get a coffee with skim or a plain nonfat latte but I felt special today. The only downfall is the sugar free (artificial sweetener) syrup but it’s ok every once in a while and better than loading myself with 20+ grams of sugar.
My mid-morning snack was a mozzarella cheese stick, which I’m becoming less and less impressed with. It’s ok but I prefer cheddar or colby.
About an hour after this snack, I went for my total body workout which was awesome. When I got back, I didn’t wait a minute before grabbing my lunch out of the fridge!
This large salad (pic doesn’t do it justice) contained spinach, cucumber, a package of salmon, tomato, and honey mustard dressing (I’m out of hummus but trying to use up dressing in the fridge). I love how green that picture looks.
It doesn’t look like much but this held me for a while before I dug into my afternoon snack. I should also mention I had a second cup of coffee with creamer 🙂
When I got home, I immediately went for my leftovers from last night!

After dinner, I had a piece of dark chocolate and then we went and played volleyball for just under 2 hours. My knees kinda hurt so I think I’m going to put off doing the dishes and whatnot until the morning 😉
Time to rest and enjoy a snack!
