Spaghetti with “meat” sauce

I had a great dinner tonight!

It all started with this:

Which came out looking like this:

I wasn’t sure what to think at first, but I took out a portion and heated it up with some Emeril’s marinara sauce and broccoli while some whole grain spaghetti was cooking.

I ended up with more sauce than spaghetti, fine by me!

Look better like this? 😉

The Smart Ground was good, this was my first time using it (I used to use Morningstar but so many of their products aren’t vegan). I like to use some sort of protein with my pasta because alone it does not satisfy me for long.

I think on its own it probably doesn’t have much flavor but it worked well in this dish! My stomach is very happy right now 🙂

Tried any new products lately?

  1. That looks delish! Does it contain soy??

  2. I haven’t had that kind before. But I’ve had the Boca (I think that’s what it was??!). I also like regular lean ground meat or turkey ground or even chicken or tofu…haha I guess I’m not particular as long as there’s pasta and sauce involved and a roll on the side 🙂

  3. I tried Pineapple Chobani today and loved it

  4. I have not had meatless meat product in a long time! I’m wondering if I should give it another try!

The last new product I tried was Tazo Joy tea and it was fabulous!

  5. I tried Starbucks’ Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte last night.
