Argh, Photobucket…

Photobucket is giving me crap this morning so I’m sorry but I don’t think a lot of my pics from yesterday will be on here until later, boo!

So here’s a question…what do you all use to get your photos on your blog?

Blogging for me can be so complicated. I upload my photos from the camera at home but my computer for some reason won’t post them to WordPress, so I have to do that from work a lot. It just doesn’t make any sense. But hopefully we’ll get a new computer for home soon. In fact, the husband mentioned last night that we might be getting a laptop that could possibly travel with us to New York in a couple weeks 🙂 Yay, that means I could blog from the Big Apple!

Anyway, I do have a few pics, so here ya go…

Okay, so the Kashi pocket sandwich. It was very tasty. I love the bread and the veggies were a good mix and not bland at all. But it’s just kind of small. I paired mine with 1/2 a Clif bar and an apple and I still didn’t quite feel full after that. But I managed to drink some more water and go for a walk which helped everything settle more. While I was out walking, I passed by one of my favorite places near work, but they haven’t turned on the water yet 😦

Oh and Alex, I got the Kashi pocket sandwich at Kroger, they also had some coupons near the freezer for the Kashi frozen products (meals, pizza, etc.).

I managed to put off my afternoon yogurt snack until the normal time even with a less than filling lunch. The Wallaby dark chocolate down under yogurt rocked, I will definitely get this one again. The chocolate was so rich and the yogurt (though a little thin) was creamy, it reminded me a lot of Stonyfield’s Chocolate Underground if you’ve ever had that one.

Sorry I’m going to have to leave you in suspense about dinner, dessert last night and breakfast and lunch from today. Hopefully all will be back to normal soon!

Workout

Yesterday it was 72 degrees here so I took full advantage and got an outdoor workout. I met my training partner and we ran a few miles, taking a short walk break a couple of times because we were going quite fast. We also found a park and ran around like crazy people a few times just to get the heart rate up, flapping our arms and skipping. It was fun. Then we came back inside and I did another mile on the treadmill using the incline 1.0-5.0 because we’ve got some small hills coming up in the race on Saturday.

Before we ran, I did a couple of quick upper body weight exercises (just 1 set) and two ab exercises. I didn’t want to overdo it but I want to maintain the muscle I have so it’s going to have to become a priority! After we ran, I did lots of stretching, which is actually becoming one of my favorite things to do these days. Funny how that happens!

I haven’t tried 5 or 6 miles yet, but I know it’s possible if I can run 4. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to attempt it or if I’m going to save it all up for Saturday. We shall see!

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya!

Okay, that was lame.

But Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m only 1/4 Irish, but I still feel the need to celebrate my heritage 🙂

What better way to do so than with a green monster for breakfast?!

I really think I have found the perfect green monster combination now. The key for me is very ripe bananas, which I had frozen, and that has made all the difference. Today’s blend included 1 cup of plain light soy milk, 1/2 frozen ripe banana, handful of spinach, and I also included 2 tsp of flax instead of a tablespoon which was just enough less that it didn’t overpower the smoothie. Yay!
